Hello all, I'm a new comer to the stable. I recently purchased a '73 Ranger XLT. Like I said i'm new to this scene and i'm looking for friends and help. I'm looking for a good supplier of aftermarket parts such as the aforementioned braided SS lines. I'm wanting to change out all the lines (fuel, brake, etc...). I've been looking and I can't seem to find a good all-around company that provides OEM/Reproduction stuff & aftermarket/performance stuff. I am a transplant from old VW's so I know there are companies that usually provide both, I just wanted some of you guys (& gals) input. Thanks for the help and look forward to many happy years to come in the community. -Shane-
Im ordering my SS lines from a member on another forum, Cheaper than Jeffs and IMO better looking.. For fuel line I used parts from Jegs ... Mostly Earls fittings and line..
I picked up my whole brake system and fuel lines from inline tube for my 77 and was very pleased with the fit. They didn't have the line that goes along the frame to the fuel pump in my dual tank system until I sent them a rusted out sample and now they should have the complete system.
Go to a hydraulic hose/ fitting store. Also an oil filter store. They will make you anything you want, often for less. I replaced my front brake lines for stainless and bought both for $50.00!!! Napa wanted $50.00 each for stock rubber lines.

Welcome to the site 704core, this is THE place to be for Ford info. I am thinking of doing the same thing, replacing all my lines with braided steel. I think I will look for a hydraulic hose shop locally for mine as it is cheaper.
