Just in case my used F250 deal doesnt go thru Im gonna order a F150.
So got some questions
1. I have XM Satelite Radio, I hear that XM and Sirius is gonna merge maybe. Should I be concerned with the factory satelite radio option or will I be throwing my money away on it?
2. Anybody get the Upgraded Fuel Tank?. Is it worth it.
3. Overhead rail storage system????Whats that.. got pictures.. again would you get again / pros/cons.
4. Convenience package for the overhead rail system...got pictures.. again would you get again / pros/cons.

1. sorry, I refuse to pay good money for the radio. check their website
2. I've got the 30 gallon tank. it gets me 450-600+ miles. it also gets pretty painfull at the pump. about $75 each fill-up.
3. sorry, don't have it. honestly, I'd rather have my moonroof. I've got the flow through center console and and that gives me enough cubbyholes for stuff
Was thinking with the overhead rail system that I could mount a rear screen for a dvd player down the road. Has anybody done this or is it not compatible?
as far as the radio, am i to assume you dont have satelite radio or you just have a separate radio from the ford factory radio.
I have the overhead storage system, and the factory DVD as well, and I think both are great. Lots of storage room. And the kids obviously like the DVD. I don't have any pics of it but I'll get some this weekend. Then again, I'm not a moonroof kind of guy so I wouldn't miss that anyway.

1. On both there websites it says that the merger will not effect factory installed satelite radios.
2. I do not have it but if I had the choice I would of got it. It is always nice to be able to carry alittle extra fuel until you have to fill it up.
3 & 4. IF you will be getting a dvd player, the factory one is very nice and will slide onto the rail and if you like more storage the rail attachments work great.
Well Joel's post looks like the stuff I have only different color so I guess I'll skip the pic post. Thanks Joel. And mine has the 30 gallon tank, and yes, I really like having it. I'd feel like I was always stopping for fuel with a smaller tank.

1. Depends on which XM unit you are use to. Factory Sirius is not as user friendly for channel surfing or viewing information as most of the aftermarket units are. I didn't like it so I dropped in a Pioneer unit with GPS and a nice graphical interface.
2. I've got the 30gal, and around town I only get 275-300 out of it. But, my truck only has 2800 miles on it so I hope it will get better...much better.
Isn't it a 37 gallon tank. Wouldn't get one w/o it. Drove 4+ hrs on the interstate with 8000lbs draggin and didn't have to fill up. The old Expy with 28 gallons might get me 200 miles (2.5 hrs).
