Pop up the power window button panel in the arm rest. I put my X-O'ers inside of there. Obviously they are inside the cab out of site, easily accessable, close to the door speakes--no baggie required.

I took a few pics of the molex connector on the driver front door of my '07 supercab FX4 while trying to figure out how to pass my speaker wires through. It's a little different than the connector posted above because the cab side half does not pull out but rather is installed from the inside.

To disconnect the plug you have to release a black tab (pic2) to lower the grey lever/lock (pic 3). As you do so the plug will begin to seperate up to a point. The lever must go perpendicular to the plug to be removed from the other side as it has a groove that travels on little pegs on either side of the mating connector (pics 5 and 7). Without removing the door it is very tight but the plug can come apart if you don't have the door fully open. The more it is closed the more room there is to remove the plug. Pic 8 is dark but I've circled the only free space to drill out......if I can get to it. It is nearly impossible to see the cab side connector from inside the truck because its located behind some sheet metal with a small opening covered by a plastic shield behind the parking brake. The fuse box blocks access to the passenger side.

The area marked in green in pic 3 is outside of the plug when connected and might be a potential location to route some wiring. I put it back together for tonight...

I wanted to put the X-over inside the armrest.....but the x-overs that I have (and most of the ones that I have seen) are to big to go there.

So even if I took the doors off so that I could drill the cab side of the plug, I am not sure if I one, I would be able to drill with out drilling into something behind it and two, if I would be able to pull the new wires through.

So has anybody actually done all this or does everyone just end up doing some type of work around (ie. drilling through the sheet metal or installing the X-over inside the door panel in a plastic bag or something.

One more question that is related but slightly off topic......has anyone installed the JL audio stealth box in there truck...and this would be the one that goes into the center counsole (sp?). If you have, did you drill holes through the floor board and bolt the metal bracket to the underside for the front bracket (which would end up penetrating the insulation under the truck) or did you just screw the front down with self taping screws?
