My coolant is still green but after lifting the cap & looking in I can see white scale partially blocking the tubes. What kind of cleaner should I use to remove it?
A professional flush would be best..... or a dipping. Do not have the rad rodded out as there are/maybe turbulators in the core and you will damage the rad........ 93 Ford manual states turbulators are in the rad, but depends on the rad I guess.
Dave, thanks for educating me as to what solder bloom is. I checked out the web site & will have to order some. I think this is the product I've been looking for. I had the same problem in a small 4 cyl gas car. I ended up replacing the rad myself when some of the products from the local auto parts store wouldn't touch it.
