coolant filter

I am thinking about changing the location of my coolant filter, does anybody see a problem with mounting it horizontal instead of vertical.

The only issue could be the coolant will dump out of the filter while you're unscrewing it. Horizontal mounting won't affect how the filter works.

I see no problems in performance and only the extra mess of changing the filter when it is unscrewed would be the only "problem" I see.

Why do you want to relocate it to a different position and mount it differently? Do you have anouther mod that is interferring with the designed placement?

No, Just thinking about putting it down with my bypass oil filter, making a mount for it so it is up higher so nothing hits it, I would like to get it away from my a/c line it is too close and hits it when driving due to vibration. Also would make it easier to change the filter.
