wow i was lookin through DTR and just noticed that some guy hit 1218 hp and over 2k ft lbs of tq in a 12v cummins!!! he pegged the torque measurement!!! the truck has run i think i heard high 700's on #2 only... THAT'S A LOT OF NITROUS to get that up to 1200+!!! maddog was there too and did 981 but had some problems?
ah that was it
but i mean remember that these guys probably aren't even close to the numbers some pullers are puttin out.. i mean who knows, there might be a puller out there at over 2k hp!!! that would be like over 4k ft lbs of tq!!! holy screamin monkey batman!
nice i can't wait for the 6.4's to get some tuning in!! i mean they have all that technology... and they've been dynoed at 630 ft lbs at the rear!!!! that's like 750 at the flywheel isn't it?? that means it's rated about 100 ft lbs below what it really produces!!!!
Mad dog hit 1011hp already. Diesel Power Mag did a big write-up on his truck, about how it started out and where its at today. It was pretty cool to read about everythig he had goin on. He's got a set of huge turbinators on that rig, let me tell ya

haha yeah, i wonder if that new truck he's building is gonna be puttin out over 1k hp like his big truck is... maybe he's gonna only give it around 800-900 cause of the lighter weight??
if its going to be a 7 or 8 second 1/4 mile truck i think hes going all out, isnt it going to be a ford lightning?
yes i believe it is... does that mean 2x4 or does it mean 4x4? cause i doubt he can get over 1k hp to the ground in a 2 wheel drive truck as light as that
