A zoodad mod is an enlargement of the air opening in the front bulkhead behind the grill. The stock opening is small and doesn't allow for a lot of airflow to the intake. You can do it with a stock box.

You can use a dremel tool, or start by drilling holes in the corners and then sawing between them. After you make the hole, sand the edges smooth. I also took some duct tape (go figure) to make a duct between the hole and the intake tube box thing next to the battery. You'll notice a lot more dead bugs on your filter!!
I got the preadator grill that funels the air right in. and helps stop a few of the bugs. cleans up the hole you make for the fresh air. I did not so the fender sleeve. I also have AIS which is similar to the stock box, just better filtration
The AIS is a revised air filter box that uses a Donaldson filter. I believe the trade name for the filter is "Power Core", which has a swirl-type shape to the element.
