78 C6 Question...
I Just put a rebuilt C6 trans from a 78 econoline into my truck an it shift really badly. It goes from 1-3 when at part throttle and shirts a 3500 when i mash my foot to the floor anyone have any idea why? Thanks-Rev

Transmission shops like AAMCO generally paint the transmission cases when they rebuild them. Other trans shops do the same, and most use different colors. This is their way of ID'ing their rebuilds. So my question is..."what color is the 'rebuilt' transmission you bought?" If it's not painted, who did the rebuild?

I had it rebuilt by a private bussiniess name is LnL Trans... It was painted grey... Ill drop this in the Drivetrain Forums thanks for your input, Do you know where I could get a new transmission kick down ?? The one that came with the trans wont mount to my 302 setup???
