We need a name for the chapter - it will be part of our FTE address, as well as printed onto some banners. Last time this came up I picked "NorCal" only to be told it was common as dirt in the NorCal area (I am from the valley.)
I was thinking of something with "sierra" in it - if that is not too common. So lets hear what you guys can come up with!
Remember that there are only a few of us involved in the project truck. We need something that satisfies everybody. It should work for the diesel crew, those who just want to camp out and fish, but I am not sure about the show trucks.
btw, highball comes from the old railroad signal flags - it means to put the hammer down and make some time.
I suggest the name have no more than two words. I also like for the words to start with the same letter to make it catchy. If everybody likes Sierra, than all we need is a second word that starts with S that embodies our club. How about the Sierra Scene?
or the Sierra Stomppers?
or the Sierra Streakers?
or the Sierra Safari?
or the Sierra Scorchers?
or the Sierra Shakers?
or the Sierra Shifters?
or the Sierra Shiners?
or the Sierra Shuffle?
or the Sierra Sirens?
or the Sierra Social Club?
or the Sierra Haulers?
Personally, I like Sierra Safari and Sierra Haulers the best. I know it's an H instead of an S, but I like it anyway. Any comments? Jag
