My '83 Bronco has the front 50/50 split bench seat. Needless to say, its in pretty sad shape. I've acquired, at not cost, a set of bucket seats from a Bronco II; it appears they will bolt in. Has anyone else done this or is there a better way to go for seat upgrade/replacement?
I'm not sure about the Bronco II seats, but any seats in a Bronco, F100, F150, F250, F350 from 73-96 will bolt in.
I've seen many other people use several different things, like explorer seats, ect...
and they didn't have to much if any modifications to get them to work.
You will have to fab them in to fit . Or get bronco/truck bases (80 - 96 ) and fab seat to them . If you have the bases that fit you can put about any seat on them . Yes some explore seats will work( bolt up to bronco bases) but not bases the floors are different.
Its easier to use right bases and use plate to fab in seats that way you have the slide and tilt option with the buckets . The bronco II may have this but you will have to rework bases to fit. Good luck any thing can be done.
