300 6 question
My dad blew his 300, and we're trying to find another one. He's got an 85 4x4, but we found a smokin deal on an 87 300 fuel injection motor. Do we have to change heads, or just swap intakes? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Believe the EFI's were a little different, had the air injection ports in the head and the chamber design was a little different, don't know if compression was the same or not but they probably don't have the mech fuel pump either. Where are you located?

Im located in Abbotsford, BC, Canada. I think the oil pump went. He started it one day, it just started knockin like hell, and he shut it down. It had no other noise previous, so that's the only thing we can think of.
