78 bronco question's

i'm new to the site+ bronco's so please forgive all the question's. i just bought my first bronco, a 78. it allready has a lift kit+33/12.50's on it, the 351m is rappin down below+ she has alittle bit of rust but not to bad,ive seen worse here in n.y . here's my question's, will the door's,fender's +hood +windsheild from a 73-79 ford f 150 work on my bronco?,and i have a built 351w+c6 from a 75 f 150 that i want to put in it and know the change's i have to make for it to work but is it enough motor for such a beast? its' not a trail rig , just street n snow for now, that's all i can think of for now so thank's

The body parts will fit.

As for the 351w+c6, was it from a 4x4?

If not you may ha problems with the transfer case.

thank's , no it was'nt but i was told i'd just have to change the output shaft?find out soon! if all else fail's i just have to find a big block now instead of later! i just want to go with the 351w because i allready have it+ the trans from my street rod project that i'm going to sell (65 falcon)so i can build the bronco. i have an old mc,culloch super charger with nitrous + a performer power package on it it should have good h/p but i do'nt know about tourqe? anyway's i seen this bronco for $700 and had to have it , figured a 4+4 make's more sence up here in upstate n,y(snow)instead of a car that i'm only going to drive in good weather, the bronco i can drive anywhere anytime

Well, they didn't make 351Ws in 75 so it must of been swapped over.
The 351W will not bolt to the current transmission you have now, and the transmission on the 351W won't bolt to the transfer case, and you'll need new motor mounts at least.

If you could find a 460 or even a 400 or 351M that would bolt right up to everything(except the 460 would require new motor mounts, but it'd be worth it).

IF you can get the 351W to work, then it would do pretty good pushing the bronco around, I wouldn't worry about it being under powered.

i thought it was a 75 must be wrong, was'nt mine + it's long gone, they did make a 351w in 75 did'nt they? i was hoping that the bolt pattern was the only difference in the tran's,the only reason i want to go with the windsor is i allready have it built for my 65 falcon that i'm gonna sell + build the bronco instead

Nope, it was a 351M before the 351W, and they started using the 351M in 77 and stoped useing the 351M in 82, I'm guessing the 351W started in 83ish.

If it is a 351M, then it will bolt right in.

they introduced the 351w in 1969! and i remember there being a 75 stampened in the lifter valley! so i assumed it was a 75 truck that i pulled it out of? but do'nt remember. i know they did'nt use them in the 78-79 bronco but i want to put it in there because i allready have it built with alot of performance part's that i dont want to go to waste, i'll never get my money back if i sold'em , as for the tran's i thought the only thing diff was the bolt pattern?, sorry if i confused ya i'm new to these kind's of site's and typing so i'm probaly not typing what i'm thinking

351W introduced in 1969. First light truck to use the 351W = 1975 Econoline. First 351W in an F Series truck and Bronco = 1980.

351C/400 introduced in 1970 (no 351C ever used in E-F-U Series)

351M introduced in 1975.(cars only)

351M/400 used in F Series: 1977/82

351M/400 used in Econoline: 1980/82

351M/400 used in Bronco: 1978/82
