They all have 4x4, and they all were available with V-8's. Which year, whichever you like the best, in the best shape.

I drive my 92 to work every day. It's a 302 v8 and it's a gas hog - 10 to 15 MPG. ...but it looks great, and I really enjoy not having to look UP to many other vehicles on the street. Another nice thing is that the turning radius is suprisingly tight! It's really easy to park. The only thing you'll need to be careful of is the transmission on the early 90's trucks - they have a tendency to die at around 90,000 miles. I just rebuilt mine to the tune of $2,000.

Still, I love my truck and wouldn't trade it for anything. (...well, except maybe the US Mint...)

All 1980-1996 Broncos are nice 4X4s to own. What year you like best is a matter of personal choice.1980-1986,1987-1991,or 1992-1996 are the different styling changes.Personally,I like the '87-'91 style Broncos the best. The '88-'96 versions all featured engines with EFI.Get one with a EFI302,orEFI351,and you'll be happy. The EFI300 I-6 was a decent engine, but it was dropped from the Bronco line starting with the 1993 models. I prefer one of the two EFI V-8s.

I've got an 89 with the I-6. not too bad, Lot's of torque and low end rock crawlin stump pullin grunt. the A/C turns it into a 4 cyl. 310,000 miles and every one of them at 13 MPG.

Go with the V-8! better MPG
