I have a 2003, F-350SD, 7.3 where the upper radiator hose goes through the fan belt. I know there is an after market hose which goes over the fan belt. Does someone know who markets the after market hose and where I can order it?
i put the dual alternator hose on mine when i flushed the coolant and changed the t-stat. its stupid ford did not put the same hose on all trucks from the factory.
The one goes through the serpentine belt, while the other goes around it. The one that goes through is standard on single-alternator trucks, while the one that goes around is standard on dual-alternator trucks. It's handy to have the one that goes around because if your serpentine belt ever needs replacement, you can do so without having to disconnect the upper radiator hose (and thus losing/having to drain coolant).
