Ok, there is a blue, 74/5/6/7 (haven't checked year yet) SC SB sitting in the carl's jr. parking lot,,,,since NOV. Has a note on it from carls jr. mngr. stating will be towed 26 of Jan. 07,,,,, still there,,,, so I am thinking of going to the carls manager and just "removing it" for him, it has an auto, and body seems decent,,,, is it a good deal, free and all

I think that may be considered stealing. Maybe ask the police or sheriff in the area if they have any info and you could possibly contact the owner. It may already be stolen and been dumped there. It would be a good score for free but the car theft part could be a hassle.

Call CA DMV's 800 number, give them the VIN or license plate to find out whether it's stolen. You might luck out and get a name and address, if it just happens to be parked on (your) property.
