I have 2002 Ford F150 XLT 4.2 L pick-up truck, and the turn indicator “blinker” sometime works and some times it doesn’t. It is not a fuse and I don’t think it is a shot in the wiring because I can get it to come on when I pull the indicator towards the driver seat and then up or down depending on the direction of travel. Any help on how to troubleshot this and or fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Do a search on the board here for multifuction stalk, turn signal stalk, etc. I think you will find that the problem is something to do with that.
From what I have read, it is fairly simple to replace, even though you have to remove some of the steering colume trim pieces and the ignition switch. There are some good posts on here that give instructions.
