Keyless Entry?

I bought my truck used, a '98 SC F-150 andthe dealer never gave me a set of remotes. I don't know if the truck came with them or not but can I buy a set from the local parts store to work? If the truck didn't come factory with them, how can I make it work? It really bugs me not having it because my doors get scratched if I miss the hole .

I think the dealer can tell you if you have the option by your VIN. Ebay is a pretty good place to pick up some remotes and most come with the programming instructions.

an easy way to tell if your truck came with factory keyless is to initiate the remote programming procedure. cycle the key from off to on quickly eight times, ending in the
on position. the locks should cycle to let you know that you are in programming mode.
press any button on remote 1, any button on remote 2, turn key off to exit. most screw have remote keyless

I did the key thing and nothing happened.... So my guess is I don't have it.
