either that or buy a diesel truck and a trailer and make/run biodiesel and just trailer it everywhere.
it cost me about $40 to fill my fuel cell on the bronco (which was not empty!) and it lasted the whole weekend. i filled my stroker once on the way home (i hold 52 gallons) and it cost me $80. course i only filled one tank but still. if i was dead empty and hadnt gotten on the road yet the most it would have cost for one fill up is $150, thats $2.85/gal.
its gonna take more than hell or high water to get me to stop! and if it gets bad enough i'll just wheel at our land down in alvaton!

I for one cant stand the high crazy gas prices it really ticks me off everytime i go to the gas pumps the price has gone up.alot of people say things to me like man you must go broke filling that big truck up.but im sure they have things they pay for that I think is dumb or silly.
If you noitice that they jack the price up during the summer witha peak at labor day. everbody complains and they back off .50 or so. then the next year they climb the price a little at a time till its up past were it was last year. People will make big deal and want something done till it take them giveing something up. then they will just deal with it. I dont like it one bit but at least you can still buy it. My neighbor has a good saying "think about it, gas is the cheapest now than it will be for the rest of your life" sad but true
DRJ, there is a truck almost identical to yours running around my area, only difference visually is he's running American Racing Bajas.
Gas prices suck, I get 260-280 per tank and I fuel up every two days, that is in my '91 Toyota, thankfully I'm not driving the F-150 it was only 150 miles to a tank... College SUCKS sometimes.
ive been paying $3.50 for 91 here in los angeles...and thats why i USUALLY ride my motorcycle to work...not to mention the fact that i dont need 331 ci. of motor AND 3 more seats to take my single *** to work...and dont EVEN get me started about parking...fur-get-it!!!
The fuel price going up hasn't and won't stop us from 4 wheeling. The forestry shutting down all the good running areas on the other hand has slowed us down some.
I've been watching acres and acres of prime farm land turn into houses. there's about 500 acres that is in the procees just down the road from me. I hate people.
