Block prep for a stroker

If I built a 514 stroker will a stockblock work or will I have to do some clearencing on the nlock to get every thing to turn without hiting anything? Also does anybody know about the stroker kits offered on EBay? They advertise mosty Eagle rods and cranks with name brand bearings and such.

for the same cash you can go bigger i run a scatt 501 kit but i have a cube limit in my class but if i didnt have that i would go as big as possible but i havent heard of a stock block going over a 572?

Thanks for the info. I was considering the 514 instead of bigger so I would have room to go bigger in the event of something breaking, maybe I would still have a little room left to grow.

well if something broke you'd be in the same spot whether you went with the 514's 4.3" crank and say a 545's 4.5 " crank. the only thing that will stop you from being able to go bigger is if you bore the thing out to 080 right off the bat, if you do a standard bore or 030 you will have room to work with still once you decide to tare down again. I would also recommend the 4.5" stroker crank as well same money
