I have 10-ply tires on F-250 Superduty, and I keep them air up between 75-80 psi. They goodyear workhorse.

my old stock Pirelli scorpions (load range E) gave me the same (3195) @ 80psi

Yes, you need E rated tires minimum. You may even want to go bigger and get something like a Rickson 19.5 conversion.

The '01 5.4 should be OK with the D rated tires.
