air bags
I just installed airbags on my Ex...they are Firestone Ride-Rites...recommended pressure is 5psi MINIMUM to prevent "pinching" up to 100psi max.
Depending on the tongue load...you "may" or may "not" need much air in the bags...it just depends on the amount of sag you get in the rear of the Ex. Some guys are hauling HEAVY tongue'd trailers 1200+# and need the added help for the stock girly man rear springs Ford stuck us with...my new TT has a near 1100# tongue and I wanted a little lift...so I'll probably only run 20-30psi max.
As far as different hellwig...well as long as the airbags don't interfere with the shock mounts now...you should be fine...you see the hellwig comes with an additional bracket plate that replaces the 2 hole stock one on the front (inside) of the rear axle...the new one is a 3 hole one that takes the 2 for the u-bolt that holds the shock bracket PLUS the new bracket / bushing holder for the hellwig...I would not worry about any difference and just order the year of your Ex...UNLESS you see a major interference...I don't know what brand airbags you have installed on the Ex...
Do you have any free shipping or $$$ off for JCWhitney? this code expires TODAY...if you like...enter code DEEADX7 at checkout for $45 off $300, $30 off $200, $15 off $100, or the code SAVENOW for free shipping over $75.
As far as TT recommendations...
Well RV.Net is a good place to chat about TT's. Do you have any requirements? I have 2 daughters and the extra slide for the bunk room is a very nice plus...lots of options and "opinions" for sure...can be overwhelming...
Good luck.

Found another JCWhitney code that appears to be better yet...
$40 off $200...code number DMGN012 it is good until May 31st. Sorry I forgot I had that one too!
As far as TT's go then...well as in my signature...we have a JayFlight 31BHDS which has a big bunk slide. HOWEVER...if you want a 4 bunk area...the 31BHS is a better alternative (I think)...we only have two daughters so the 1 bunk room with 2 bunks gives sleeping room for them PLUS a "private" area for those rainy days. When they have friends...that's what the couch and dinette are for...
This is our second TT but first Jayco...and are impressed with the Jayco quality. Mountaineer also makes a nice 31' or 32' double slide layout. The Jayco Eagle line is a step up over the JayFlight line in that it has some nicer trim, fiberglass siding, and some other upgrades. Price for the Eagle line is generally $2500-$4000 depending on dealer and area. For what we do, the JayFlight was a good match for us.
RVDirect is a source to "price" new units. Where are you located? I've got a great dealer in Elkhart that sells Jayco at smoking prices as well...I didn't use him due to the fact I had a trade in...and who would have thought that "used" units next to the Jayco factory have no value! LOL...so I had to buy where I got the best "all around" deal which included my trade. But if you are interested I have the name and web link for them.
Good luck and sorry I forgot about the code...if you already ordered, you can call customer service and they will adjust it for you...just tell them you had another code and they are great about adjusting your order after the fact.
joe.
