Transmisson help!
I have a 1997 powerstroke and the Overdrive light keeps blinking on and off and the truck will not shift automaticly you have to do it manually and it wont go into overdrive and its an automatic? what is the problem

VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) It's on the rear axle. It's like $25 from ford. Comes out with a 10mm bolt. Super easy. It's the only wire on the rear axle, should be on the drivers sided on top of the axle housing above the driveshaft. Hope that helps.
