Installing new clutch, need torque....
...specs. Long story short: a very good friend of mine wanted to test drive my truck "overnight" (wanted to buy it) and it turned into "8 days." Well I got the truck back, and he had adjusted the clutch, and it was slipping BAD. I called him when I got home, and of course he denied EVERYTHING. Claimed he didn't adj. the linkage and it wasn't slipping when he had it....
yeah right...
needless to say we aren't friends anymore.
So, I need to put a new flywheel on the truck along with a new clutch kit. I need the torque specs for the flywheel bolts & press. plate to flywheel bolts.
The 5.0L is a '80, flywheel is from a '90, trans is a '83, and the clutch/press plate came off of a '81 I had (10" version).
