i just purchased a 2000 f250 crew cab short bed lariat with an 8' lift on 37's with 5' straight pipe and a banks big head wastegate and AFE intake and need a chip/programmer to reprogram for the tires and all the performance too
what would guys recommend??
yes sir, everything from a antitheft"no start" tune to 140 extreme. the chip is multiposition and the tunes can be switched on the fly. it is a 16 position chip so the options are big. I speak from experience you will love it. you'll have a smile on your face that you can't knock off with a bat trust me!!
alright sounds pretty sweet what company makes both of those and do they have any kind of warranty or anything like that so if it blows up my turbo ? haha
i have an 01 8 inch lift 37's and i have a custom burnt chip from western diesel and it is a whopping 190 horse hahaha dont beat on it to much youll prolly break rockers from over rev...but i also have the six gun stacked with it..huge difference......dont know if you have any dealers around you that can burn western diesel cips but it is the highest horsechip out.they friggin made me sign an agreement saying they werent responsible for any mechanical damage...only the thing they will stand behind is if something happens to your electrical system but that never happens...
what did you use for the spedometer recalibration? that sound like a little bit too much i just want something that will give me a few more mpg but will let me blow some smoke on those duramaxs and let me blow some smoke at stop lights out at people haha
superlift has the recalibration kit...and the cip i have will leave a whole bunch of smoke..i like to smoke out kids in those boom boom bang bang noisey little power wheels hondas lol....specially when their windows are down works grat since y truck is lifted......
For speedo calibration I run the Superlift TruSpeed Module.
For a chip, I run the TS Performance 6 Position Chip....best performing chip that I've ran in my truck. Super smooth, great power, very responsive and awesome shifting with my BTS transmission.

Go down to the 7.3 section of the forum and read about the mods there and the tech folder. Lots of specific info for your truck there.
Maybe one of the mods will move this thread there as you will get a better response to your question.
i just want a chip that will give me awsome performance and will reprogram my speedometer kinda like an all in one but the TS performance sounds like the chip for me i like the swithc on the fly capability

None of the 7.3 chips will reprogram the speedo.
As for the chip, I have...
