transmission problem
2001 F250 SD AT
put the transmission in reverse then switched to drive transmission wouldn't shift up, didn't matter where the gear indicator was, drove 7 miles turned it off, no reverse, transmission fluid was fine, no odor, temperature was okay, didn't overheat, overdrive light was flashing, what's up?

Transmission Problems no reverse no neutral
dtc p0603 internal control mod kam error. disconnected both neg batt cables to reset any dtcs, still no reverse/or neutral. 30mph top speed wont upshift doesnt feel like its slipping. inspected didntfind any leaks, removed pan and inspected normal amount of friction material no chunks etc. fluid clean. visually inspected didnt see anything wrong with the valve body. with the scanner looked at datastream didnt see anything wrong the trans range etc seems to be working. is this a common problem? i think i need a transmission expert to give me some advice. i dont think the trans needs replace. something wrong with the valvebody? forward clutch stuck? reverse clutch not appling? i dont know
