I'd like to have parts books past 1989, but what is available cheap ($30.00) are the scanned books on CD and these are not done by FoMoCo. If the CD's were scanned from earlier book changes, instead of the last and final change, some part numbers are not updated, and Ford loves to update numbers. The only other choice is to buy the real Ford microfiche..cost $110.00 each series (example 1973/79~1980/89). If y'all would like to buy the 1990 and later fiche, I'll be happy to use them here. I already bought those two series I listed (I have the viewer), plus a few additional books needed.

Too serious? LOL...join the club! It's not always possible to not be too serious...especially when owning, discussing and fixin' these old rolling piles of misery.

I'll say this...I own two 1963 Ford Galaxies, an F100 I bought new in 1965, a 1963 Studebaker Super Hawk, two prewar Packards and a Bentley. and over the past 50 years, I've owned many many more old rides Ford and otherwise. 35 years of selling Ford parts comes into play here to. So, pick one..pick two..pick 'em all...you decide which rolling pile of miseries I'm refering to!

Genuine Ford Parts

(no car, just a bunch of parts, and when any of those parts stop holding hands...watch out)

I edited some of the above post...I have not created a gallery. I tried uploading photos a coupla times, no workee without resizing them to the size of a gnat. Ditto for an avatar. Several members have offered to help, but I haven't got around to it yet. In spite of the large number of posts, I've been here less than 6 months. This place keeps me rather busy and I am the worst procrastinator imaginable!

I'm in it mega $$$...I bought it twice..once in March 1965, and again in the summer of 1981. A cop buddy ran the VIN..the POS was located in Felton, CA in a creek bed..I still wanted it. The cost to fix the terd...and that was EXACTLY what it was when I bought it back, despite cost +10 on parts and labor...the restoration (frame off) cost 10 + times what I paid for it new.
