Need Paint Advice

Hello to all,

I am getting ready to paint my 1964 shortbed F-100. Would like to get back to original two-tone.

Does anyone know the correct shade of cream or white to use with a good solid color to get the right effect? How about paint brand?

Thank you for your help.

A 1964 Ford would have been painted with acrylic enamel as original.

Color code M = Wimbleton White was the color used when the trucks were tu-toned. This is an off-white, not a bright white.

Welcome to FTE hombre, not sure if familiar with the web sites listed below which may or may not be of any help. With regards to the 'auto color library', sometimes paste and copy will not take directly to the site, if not , by entering the info in appropriate fields it will get you there. Also found when you enlarge the color chart the cursor highlights the chip which can be a nuisance. Have not purchased from the site so can't give advise in that regard. Local auto paint shop should be able to cross reference. Just a suggestion; may want to bookmark articles, referral sources you come across while browsing the various forums for future reference. Find I am constantly going back to review articles, or post the source on topics other members have questions about. Again, welcome to FTE.
