Lifter knocking
Help me out is there a miracle cure for a knocking lifter? Not sure why it is knocking but it is. The cylinder in question is the third back on the pass side. I am running 87 Octane but if I bump up to 89 or 93 it does not help, I have also tried Lucas Oil addative but that did not help either. Only time I have had a valve cover off I was just replacing the gaskets so I am not sure what it is suppose to look like or what to do if I do decided to work on it myself. The shop said to just leave it alone because it was not hurting anything but that did not sound right to me.
