Bullrun

Has anyone seen this new TV show bullrun I'm not trying to advertise it but if you havent seen it check it out and the reason I'm posting it in here is b/c a couple of fellas from TX are driving either an 04 or 05 F-150 and are kickin tail against all kinds of exotics the last episode they drove there F-150 through a brickwall and it survived minus the headlights and grill. spike TV tues @ 1000PM

I liked it when they beat the Lamborghini in the slalom. Driving skill beats money every time.

Yeah it is a pretty neat show. There is a long thread in General Automotive all about it that they have been posting in ever week.

2004 F-150 Lariat with 3" lift. the show specs it out at 400 hp. Wonder how he got that?

still, it was a nice truck, but that stupid wall f'ed it up.

okay show though

Ya I dont know how they got the HP numbers I figure hes pushing 320 max at the wheels

Which at a 20% driveline loss (automatic tranny) would put him close to 390 hp at the flywheel. I'd say he's lucky to have 320 at the flywheel. I think all he said he has done is a cold air intake, wasn't it, oh, and a TB spacer.

I say he'd be lucky to have 320 at the crank, with exhaust and a tuner as well.

He said on the other messageboard "it's like playing poker,you don't want opponents to know what your holding."In other words he was bluffing about 400 hp.I guess he didn't expect every F150 owner in the country to call his bluff.

I had a look at his truck today. The condenser had a few dings in it but was no worse for wear. The blocks were actually made of balsa shaving and glue so I'm told.
