This may sound dumb but it will work. Get a little notepad, and start jotting stuff down. I luckily have a decent memory, but I have suggested this to a buddy and it works deadly for him.

What preppypyro said...That's what I have to do, I can be told something, and 5 minutes later forget I ever talked to you.

Repeat what she said back to her, if you need to. I found that when I am introduced to somebody new, if I use their name within the first couple of minutes of conversation, I remember it much better. She'll probably get mad at you for repeating her all the time, though, so maybe you should do it with your 'inside voice'...

They say to take ginkgo biloba for your memory....but if you can remember to take it everyday, you don't need it!

Thats when you tie a string to yourself and attach the other end to the string just like I had to do with my mittens when I was a little kid!

Here's what I do...and this is how my mind actually works. Lets say I just met someone named Karen, I will start repeating the name in my head...Karen, Karen her name is Karen...Like the woman that lives down the road, Karen. Karen that lives down the road, Karen that lives down the road...She lives next to Bill...Karen that lives next to Bill...Bill had a daughter, what was her name, I went to School with her...Susan, no that was her friend..Susan use to date Josh...I haven't seen him in a while, I wonder what ever happened to him...Oh crap, what was this woman's name again.
