Just got my edge last week for my 04 screw larait . And I gotta say that it was the best 350 dollars that I've ever spent . best 0-60 time so far is 8.1 secs.

Have to agree with you! I love mine also! Considerable difference in performance! I just saw an article in Ford Truck Performance magazine and they claimed 50 HP and 53 TRQ at the wheels on level 3 and in a 5.4L, those are pretty substantial numbers.

My 4.6 needs all the help it can get, since I'm rolling on 22's!

I'll stay at Level 2 & spend the difference on the lower octane on toys.

Gotta Agree on the Edge. Just got mine this week, along with my Flowmaster SISO and K&N FIPK. Whole different Truck . I was amazed how easy the Edge programmed.

Not really worried about 0-60 times it's just crazy how much difference there is in this truck with the new tune. gotta admit that the gas prices suck but as long as we pay for it then they will keep raising the price .Kinda funny when the oil companies say they are not gouging the price but they all post record profits?? kinda funny huh. but the bottom line is that we have to have it. at 6'6 295 lbs a focus is not in the cards for me! when the new wears off then I will stop stomping it so much and maybe it won't kill me on gas.

acutally gonna look for a mid 90's thunder chicken or cougar to drive back and forth to work if memory serves me right they don't do to bad on the gas and big enough for my big behind to be comfy

check out the Mustangs as well. I'm 6'3" at 275 lbs and I fit in my Mustang just fine. nobody will fit in the backseat behind me, but I've got plenty of room. I've been getting 18ish MPG in the city doing stupid stuff and I've gotten 30 mpg on the highway.

oh yeah, that's in a GT

The timing curve change can have an effect on the tailpipe note.

I run my edge on level 3 aqs well with 93 octane.

I have noticed a slight "shutter" at times when starting out and or turning at low speed and giving moderate throttle. I had the edge updated last week and ran the truck on stock setting, man it was a dog, I did not notice the shutter.

Anyone hear of this? Think I should be worried about the tranny?

that shutter is probably your rear end spinning. my truck does that every time I take a pretty hard turn and give it gas. the LS in the axle makes both the tires spin and I get a little wheel hop until the truck straightens out

This sounds like a neat accessory - two questions for Edge owners...

1) can you change between settings on the fly? ie-be driving down the highway and go from level 1 to 2, etc?

2) I understand there is supposed to be a "high mileage" setting for better MPG (claimed +2 mpg) has anyone tried this setting?

You cannot change on the fly. With ANY tuner, there is no true "economy" tune. You may find that with your engine running tuned, that with the increased efficiency, comes increased mileage. NO tuner manufacturer will claim mileage gains, without lying through their teeth. With that said, I can normally eek an extra mpg or so out of it with the tuner and premium fuel.
