Ok, I have a minor issue. I just cracked my girlfriend's side mirror (heated) on her brand new Mercury Milan (same as Fusion). I know I know, this is the wrong forum. But I really need your advice, is the mirror itself replaceable? Where do I do? How do I replace it? Is it expensive? I did this because I was trying to remove the blind spot mirror and I even heated up the mirrors and when I went to go pull on it, it cracked.......Please post!
no luck at all my friend...she is going to freak when I bring the car back to her tomorrow. I detailed the car for her today and she took the truck...I know shes going to cry her eyes out! I hope the replacement mirror isnt too expensive....
A quick ebay search shows a Left Milan mirror for $119. Man up Dude! Do what the rest of use do when we break something on the wife's/girlfriends car...deny, deny, deny.
oh jesus...I guess Ill be calling up Mercury tomorrow...I can only imagine how much THAT will cost. I did find someone who was selling a replacement driverside mirror only and just sent him a question to see if he has any right side mirror for HEATED and POWER (ps. he has listings for FUsions. I am hoping that they are the same part number as the MIlan)
like Marobrown says local glass company. There is one in Ithaca, NY who cuts and installs as a public service (no charge...) they figure it is a safety item and if they do you a favor you'll do business with them.
