i have a 1979 ford f-150 with a 400 and c6 with a Edelbrock 1400 carb and Edelbrock intake would it be a good swap to move to a Holley Pro-Jection Fuel Injection Systems with the fuel price where it is $3.67 a gal would i get better gas milage and would it efect the power any help with my ? would be great.
ps
how is the install on it and dus any one have the manual on the net.
The biggest hassle I had when installing ProJection on a '78 Regal w/ a 350 Chevy: I had to drop the gas tank to knock out a restrictor in the vapor line fitting. This allowed full fuel flow back to the tank; leaving the restrictor in would've caused too much pressure in the return line. The rest of the install was easy.
You might want to confirm with Holley before you modify your tank; if a '78 Regal had a vapor fitting that was useable, I'd think a '79 150 would also but maybe not.........
For the couple of MPG that you will gain, it will take years to pay off the initial investment of the kit, I would think. But you should see better mpg and drivability and power.
well i use some where in the area of $40 a day in gas so any help would be great. and the kit is only $950 if anyone has the #'s on that plz let me know

did you fine the part or just run a line? I'm starting a simular project and havn't decided what to do either drill another hole on my filler neck or use my breather line and run a vented cap. A different regulator would be graet. I assume it 's some sort of bypass regualor.
