1989 differential rebuild
I have a 1989 Bronco with a 5.8L engine and C6 transmission. I want to rebuild the rear differential but have never attempted it before. Are there any manuals that can guide me through this or can anyone out there walk me through this job. I do not know which differential is on my vehicle.

Your '89 has a Ford 8.8 rear. The Helms manual will help you rebuild it, helminc.com. It'll be pricey tho, you might be able to find a general book on this type of thing.
You'll need new pinion seal, pinion bearings, carrier bearings, might as well do the axle bearings while you have it torn down. It's kinda a lot of work if you've never done this type of thing.
