Hello everybody,
I'm new to the forum, but already got a problem.
I want (have to) replace the seal for my LH Vent window on my 1996 Ford F150XLT- Reg.Cab.
I can't find the part number or any place where I can order the seal from.
Can anybody help- please?
Thanks for the Link, but i can't find the Vent Window Seal for a 1996 F150.
Is the seal for a 87-91 Model the same?
It's a really hard to find part!
Uh huh, yeah right..you oughtta own the old piles some of us do!
Body style changed in 1992. I have no parts books that late, so I'm not sure if 1992 is the same,as 87/91...but here's a guess on the '92 number.
1992: F2TZ-1521448-A R/L / F2TZ-1521449-A L/S
This IS the correct number for 1987/91: E7TZ-1521448-A R/S / E7TZ-1521449-A L/S
Here's a simple and easy way to find out...contact FTE sponsor y2kfordparts. Willie will tell you which is right, and give you a discount too...
SUBFORD...that's NOT usually true about dealers giving away the part number, unless the part is obsolete. It's usually t'other way around...why give away money?

I simply tried to offer freperry an option. Sorry I tried to help and stepped on your dealership loyalties. I'll do my level best to see it doesn't happen again.

I have no connection with y2kfordparts, which pays good money to be a sponsor here. I amloyal to FTE's sponsors, after all...someone has to pay for all the FREE information one gets here. No one is paying me to help here either, it's my choice. I also no longer have any connection with any FoMoCo dealership because I'm retired.

List of sponsors are at the top of the page...y2kfordparts is Millenium Ford, in the Seattle Washington area. The parts manager is Willie, he is the one that takes care of members here. y2k offers a discount to FTE members on Ford parts, and anyone who normally shops at dealers knows that the Ford list price is only a myth to some dealers. Retail customers usually pay as much as 40% OVER list price. That's why having a Ford dealer here as a sponsor is such a good thing for members. You get the discount off of the actual Ford list price.
