Restraints Diagnotic Tool
Does anyone know the resistor value that is used for the RDT in a 2004 Ranger? I am servicing the airbag/restraint system and when I went to order from Ford they said it would be 3 weeks to get the part. I read it can be easily made from a $2 part from Radio Shack

No, What I'm looking for is the resistance value of a tool made by Ford to diagnose the restraint system. You unhook the air bag and plug what is really nothing more than a resistor wired to the electrical fitting. It allows you to get past the airbag codes to check the rest of the restraint system.
