It is nice to see a group of GASSER people. I'm a 460 guy. I hope one day to build my 460 to about 350 HP & about 550-600 ft/lbs of torque. I know there are some roller cams out there that will give you that torque in the 2000-2500 RPM range.
I'm not interested in pulling with it as in TRUCK PULLS. I want mine for pulling our 10,000# travel trailer easier. It pulls it OK now but every so often I want to let those diesels see tail lights of a gas rig on a long up hill.
Glad to see so many that prefer gassers over diesels. Add me to the list.
460s and 390s are all i will ever use for a hard working truck and they sound much better in my opinion.I like a diesel for a tractor like a ih 1206 or 1066.
