I was testing my GPR today, and all looks good, but got as quick question.
Are the two large stud that holds the big wires suposed to very hot to the touch while the WTS light is on? I touched mine and burned the tip of my finger, and then had to touch the other one like an idiot and burned again.
Alot of current is flowing through there when the GP are energized. May want to ohm the glow plugs through the harness just to be sure burning your fingers sounds a little hot.
After it was all said and done I was thinkin " here is your Sign". I disconnected the harness and ohm the plus and they read 0, and I checked them all a couple of times just to make shure I was getting a good touch with the probe.
I checked the two outer prongs on each harness. while playing around the middle prong gave no reading, so I hope I did it right
Thanks amiller, are you saying when testing I should place my probe in between the glow plug prongs, and not right on the prong?. When I was testing I placed the probe on each prong.
