I have an 89 f150 swaped to a 4 barrel (holley 650) with headers and comp cams 260 degree cam (and some minor head work) I have 35's , I was tossing around the idea of going to 5.13's or lower gearing. I also have all of the things to assemble a water-alcohol injection system. I was wondering what is the possibility of the front tires lifting off, even a little. Oh and my rear leaves a approx. 8in. thick
yeah, just don't see it happening... when you say water alcohol injection, that is normally an upgrade done to turbocharged engines, it acts as a chemical intercooler. are you just planning on running that on a stock engine? on a truck with that much lift, you have a lot of spring wrapping to do before you'd ever see a lift of the wheels, and your front suspension has a lot of droop before the wheels are ready to come off. think of the CARR racing trucks, tons of power on 35's, they never lift the front wheels. your drivetrain is just too heavy
