Really ??? Then why does it CLEARLY list the engine as a 5.8 liter ???
And just what is going to happen if you go over this magical weigh ?
Actually the 5.8 is listed as the base engine for this truck. I'm not going to try to outguess the numbers from Ford Engineering. Many people tow way over the reccomended capacities with no problem. I only quoted what Ford reccomends.
Just trying to figure out if I can pull it safely, from my location to my house (200 miles). I currently live in it during the weekdays (military) and have 2 1/2 years left before I retire and I will be deployed for 15 months of the time remaining. I want to trade it in after that (as I will be living with my family at our house). I want to downsize for a slide-in camper style. I also don't want to buy (or trade it for) a slide-n that is too heavy for my F350. Just trying to get a feel for weight ranges for both setups to se if I can make it home and for future planing.
