Ignition Control Modules
What is the difference between the different colored tabs on the duraspark control modules? I have seen blue, green, black. How do you know which ones go with what ignition systems?

The only thing you can really do is go by what the parts book calls for, or if you are wiring something new or converting something, just remember the color blue.
I believe the black is a 1st generation module, and was replaced by the blue. All the others are for california models, models for high altitude, and some emissions type stuff. I think I heard also some of the odd colors were for duraspark III systems.
Basically all the colors other than blue have some feature you really don't need unless you have a original truck with the original engine wiring and hoses on it.
