ford manuals arrived
just received my new (used) ford manuals in the mail.
powertrain/drivetrain and body/chassis service manuals for 1994 explorer/ranger/aerostar.
just looking them over i learned 10 new things.
way better than the chilton manual i have.
the haynes are crap for this model imho.

I've got the Ford shop manuals for all of my vehicles now except the 2007 Ranger. The '07 manuals are still running about $400-$500, so I think I'll wait on those...
I threw away the Chilton and Haynes on the Explorer when I got my Ford manuals for it. They did not come close to helping as much as the manuals.

i got them for $41 including postage. not a bad deal.
i also have them for my 94 f150.
i am a firm believer in buying the shop manual for any vehicle i purchase.
i recommend anyone on these forums to do the same.
