Looking For Leg Room

The only other thing I can think of is to remove the gas tank and put on elsewhere. Then maybe fashion up some kind of new, longer seat tracks.
But that would affect the seat back since it is already against the cab.

Frank, The gas tank doesn't interfere with the seat. Push yours all the way back and slip your hand back there. The top of the seat will hit the rear of the cab above the tank first.

My mistake again, I was saying leg room but was technically talking head room. I measured from the floor where my feet rest to where the headliner stops above the windshield, keeping the tape measure along side the steering column, that measurment is 46 inches. Was wondering if a cab without a 6 inch step has more head room?
