Im having the same problems again go to start the truck and the check engine light comes on doesnt happen all the time but does often. Then i get the OD flashing light and early shifts or TC locked shifts/hard shifts. I replaced the VSS, ICP sensor recently...and within the last 4 mos i replaced the TPS pedal assembly, and CPS. I have noticed someting though if the light comes on when i turn the key to run I can push the pedal a little and the light goes out let off and the light comes back on sometimes. Its weird...also sometimes i let off the gas and the light comes on while driving and all the shifting wierd comes back. Im gunna take a look at the TPS and see if someting is stuck in it or something because i do know if the TPS is pushed in a little without the IVS being released it will set a CEL so ill check that out tomorrow. Any ideas???
I am not a auto trans guy , but I think you are on the right track, I would put my money on a sticky idle validation switch, it can cause havoc if it is slow to release.
Yea thats what im gunna try I think that may be the problem no codes on the programmer tried that just before i boxed it up and shipped it out to someone who bought it on ebay...lol savin up for a real chip now.
