Block width?

Quick question to anyone with a spare FE pan or block on a stand-

How wide is a FE block across the oil pan from centerline of one bolt hole to the other and from the inside edge of the block to the inside edge of the block.

2 measurements would be nice- across the block where the lip is straight and also a measurement across where the bulge for the oil pump is.

Thanks!

Justin

FE measurements

Justin, a quick glance at one I have, the bolt holes are 8.750 apart ( C to C ), and the block is 9.6 wide on the bottom and 11 inches where the bulge is for the oil pump and the filterpad mount. DF, on work's old cast off 'puter

Thanks a lot!!

if you happen to be close to it, can you get me the measurement across the inside of the rails? Also CL of the bolt holes that are at the pump bulge (IIRC they're about another 1/4" apart).

I recently came up with a half sheet of 1/4 plate, so my intentions are to weld myself up a beast of an oil pan. Get about a 7qt capacity and a new jack point (j/k)
