Ok - I know I had a diagram that told me which valve was exhaust and which was intake on my Edelbrock 60329 heads - but I can't find it. Is intake the closest to the radiator, or vice versa? Is it the same for the driver's side bank? Or is it switched 'cause the head is 'reversed' from side to side. I suppose it depends on the cam... ? [sigh] There's so much I don't know!!!!
Just look at the exhaust port on the number 1 cylinder (front, passenger side). If the exhaust port is very close to the front edge of the head then the exhaust valve is first in line. If the exhaust port is 2 or 2 1/2" back from the front edge of the head then the intake valve is first in line (verify by tracing where the intake manifold runner for that cylinder is located). If the sequence is IE,IE,IE,IE on one side then the sequence on the other side would be EI,EI,EI,EI.
