alarm not working

alarm not working
I just finished hardwiring my sirius radio and now i Just noticed my alarm isnt working. Here's what I got.
-The remote keyless entry works.
-The lights blink correctly with respect to unlocking and locking.
-The led stays on permanently with the car off whether the alarm is armed or not. If i turn the car on, the led will go off.
-The speaker does not beep with turning the alarm on or off.
-The alarm does not go off.
-I noticed a shock sensing box under the stearing shaft which has an led that blinks if i bump any part of the stearing system.
-There is a switch for the hood that should trigger the alarm if someone opens the hood. This has not worked for a while now.
-The sirius was wired in using only the radio fuse, the alarm is not sharing this fuse.
Any info on where to start trouble shooting would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, so I decided to see if the panic mode works and oddly enough it does. so its not a disconnected speaker or anything like that. But you can jump on the bumper all you want, it's not going off. is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of it? maybe I unknowingly did that.
oh and in the original post...with the shock sensing box, i dont mean electrical shock, but an impact shock.
