Auto Fair 2

Auto Fair 2 was a success. we had several that was MIA but we had a great breakfast at Golden Corral. Then we all left and made a stop so Josh could pick up some parts from Dennis Carpenters and then on to Auto Fair. It was wall to wall people and great deals everywhere on parts and cars and truck.

We spent most of the day there and the restored cars and trucks there were top notch.Heck I even found a couple of Ford Emblems to put on my powerchair cheap. I have to say I had iot the easiest all I had to dop was roll around there while everyone walked. there was a lot of Ford Truck projects really reasonable there and parts.

We all had a great time and 4 of us went to Ashleys (MAKO) House and had a small cook out until the rain finally hit.

For all those that couldn't make it I hope yall can make the next one in Sept. Save your money and Join us maybe you will get the parts you need or a new project and have a great time with a great bunch of people.

Oh yeah....I was just so exhausted. We got together today after closing ceremonies, and I fell asleep with my head on my b/f's shoulder at Red Lobster. I don't have anything big planned for school during September, so hopefully it will be better, and I'll be able to bring my son this time.

Sure join us in Sept along with your son and b/f. We're trying to get our chapter to grow by getting more members coming to GTG.

I know it might be a drive for you,but we are having a GTG in May in Sanford trying to help get the Eastern Chapter going. If yall might be interested

Oh, we're planning on it. (Sept.) We've also started making tenative plans for the Sanford gtg as well. Doing the driving myself instead of riding shotgun in the car for the long trips together is gonna take some getting used to, but hey, I'm ready for a change of pace. I feel a tiny bit out of place with the car people sometimes...lol.

Great just sign up for the May GTG if you're able to make it.
I hope I can find out the dates for Sept Auto Fair soon so I can get it posted.

I hope to get our chapter big enough to enter our trucks on the track one day.

That would be wonderful! You may have a new person on here soon. One of the chaperones on the school trip I took has a supercharged F150 so I've tried to recruit him....hopefully he'll be here soon. Lives in Durham.
