installed dp-tuner chip
i have a few questions...
first: which way does the cable go in? i noticed that there are 2 different ends on the cable, one is straight out of the connector and the other is at a 90* i put the straight connector on the PCM side and the 90* on the controller side. by doing it this way there is really no way to mount the controller, but i do not see how reversing the cable would help..
second: i noticed that inbetween gears that the engine speed does not come down when i take my foot off the gas..is this normal with this chip? im concerned about it wearing out my clutch faster

congrads on the new tunes...you will love them..I put the 90* in the pcm and the strait end on the box..I located the box in the seem of the 2 panels beside the steering wheel..the cable came out the seem strait into the box and then stuck the box splitting the seem...
you have more power getting you to the next gear so it may role better into the next gear...that could be why you dont loose speed..or is this no loss of speed when cluch is out??

i looked at the pictures in the directions closer and the way u said seems to be the way that the directions are..
even if i rev the truck out of gear the rpm takes longer to come down than with the superchips tuner, its as if the injectors are not shuting off, could it be that there is so much fule in the combustion chamber that it takes an extra second to get it all burned off?
