Wink Placing Blame!

This is my first post to this site, but I have been using it to gather info on mods that are being used on the 7.3's. I thought that the PSD was good w/o lots of extra tinkering, however after spending aparently too many hours of reading I have fallen into your trap! Yes, let the mods begin!!! Starting with 4" MBRP exhaust today, the 6637 filter and the DP chip should be here next week. I can't wait!! I just wated to post a huge Thank You to the guys who regularly post here, your knowlege and insight into the PSD's is fantastic. Oh yeah, for the blame part - I'm using you guys when the wife finds out how much I'm spending! But don't worry too much, I'm afraid she may know me too well to place the blame on anyone else. Thank's again!!

Thanks for the welcome, just back from test drive with the new 4" exhaust - not any louder than stock. At least from in the cab. The truck is a 2002 Crew Cab with a long box so it puts it back there a bit. Dodged the wife bullet, she'll never even know its there!

There is no cure, no 12 step program, no hope.
I just fixed the lumbar on the driver's seat today. Easier job than I thought it would be. I thought the cable broke, but it was only where the cable end pulls through the lumbar ribs. Simple matter of installing the cable with a large flat washer so it can't pull through. Done in an 1.5 hours and that was trying to figure out what it took to fix it. If I knew what I was doing it would have been 1/2 the time.
My next one is a CB radio due to arrive tomorrow.
Anyone else want to list thier next one?

Mine, well mine is coming up soon. It IS the largest PMS infliction, hopefully the best mod so far..

But to get ready for the trip, i put in new leveling springs, new MOOG ball joints, painted axle ends and knuckles, new FR u-joint (locked up), tomorrow i am doing new front rotors and pads i thought were fine but one has a HOLE in it, and finishing up my CCV reroute. I would get a CB but i don't drive enough to get on the channels and jabberjaw, "good buddy"

I know what my handle would be though!

Hey amiller, I had already looked at all those mods, shoot have to wipe the drool off the keyboard again. Actually I have read lots on here even before buying the truck, knew I needed somthing with more torque for pulling 3 horses around. That and getting my 95 F150 wrecked by a tornado in Minnesota last summer pushed me to do a lot of research on best truck for my needs. The PMS, as far as I'm concerned is just a Bonus!
Snowbunny, my wife knows there are mods a-comin, somthing to with the type of pacing I do while wating for goodies to arrive usually gives it away. But she's lived thru snowmobile mods of all kinds, 460 big block into 78 Bronco, and a friends 410 small block into an S-10 blazer done in our garage; she'd probably more surprised if I didn't start messing with this one. And I know how she drives, she will love it!
